I want to lay down with

My back being caressed by the grass...

Gaze up at the moonlit sky,

Count the infinite stars,

Let the cool night breeze rejuvenate me...

Play pretend

With the night animals and

Let them

Sing me to sleep with a lulaby...

Be woken up by the drops of the

Early morning dew.

Be amazed by the astonishing beauty of a sunrise

Welcome to burping.turtles :))

This is my firsl blog post.. I decided to put a poem relating to nature to start up..

I'll be posting all sorts of texts an poems relating to various topics on this blog, but for now mother nature's work of art is what is on my mind..

We are currently living in a completely material world. Many of us tend to forget the true beauty of a flower or how much peace the smell of the sea can bring to our soul. We are way too focused and too attached to all the consumer goods and technology available to us... I am not going to exclude myself from this majority of people that has been infected by this consumerism virus... But i will exclude myself from the group of people that does not care at all about our natural surroundings...

It is necessary to find a certain balance in our lives... I am personally a city lover - all the buildings, the shops, the entertainment, the noise, the technology at hand, and the great flux of people make me feel totally alive.

But once in a while it is necessary to reconnect with the things that are so genuine and that once upon a time made you happy... Go out into the countryside or to the sea - leave ur cellphones, your computers and simply sit on the beach, enjoy the warm sand in your feet, the cool ocean breeze, look up at the sky and think about how tiny and insignificant you actually are... Run, jump, dive into the majestic waters, swim with no destination, empty your mind and simply enjoy yourself :)).
